According to Reuters, White House spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham said the president is still healthy and his physician will monitor him closely.

“The President has not received COVID-19 testing because he has neither had prolonged close contact with any known confirmed COVID-19 patients, nor does he have any symptoms,” Grisham told  Reuters. “President Trump remains in excellent health, and his physician will continue to closely monitor him.”

The White House did not immediately respond to Business Insider’s request for comment.

During a Monday press conference, Vice President Mike Pence was asked if Trump was tested or if he himself was tested. Pence said he had not been tested.

Trump flew on Air Force One with GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida, who is under a self-imposed quarantine after coming in contact with someone who tested positive at CPAC. He is awaiting test results and does not have symptoms, Business Insider previously reported.

Gaetz reportedly sat in a different section of Air Force One after learning that he had been in contact with an infected person.
